I’m a second generation Asian American born and raised in Los Angeles, CA.
I fell in love with psychology in 7th grade after reading a memoir for a book report. Ever since then, I love reading about the human mind, connection with others, and how we think, feel and act. I pursued a bachelor’s and master’s degree in psychology at Pepperdine University. I have been fortunate to work with different populations, but have come back to what resonates the most with me: motherhood and cultural identity.
I am a mom to two little ones and a military wife. I love being able to spend time with my family and friends, but also understand the importance of recharging one’s batteries. I deeply understand the unique challenges faced by adult children of immigrant parents. Growing up in a multicultural environment often involves navigating cultural/familial expectations with personal identity and aspirations. I also understand the complexities of motherhood: lack of sleep, unsolicited advice from just about everyone, the exorbitant amount of money we pay for berries for our kids. I get it.
I am trained in EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, and other trauma focused interventions. I utilize a client centered, strength based approach—meeting clients where they are and when they are ready.
Whether you are struggling with cultural identity, being a mom, having “mom guilt,” or life transitions – I’m here for you. I believe building a strong therapeutic relationship full of honesty, empathy, and some laughs in a judgment free zone is what you need. You don’t need to go through these challenges alone.

Transitioning into adulthood can be both exciting and challenging. I work with young adults to address issues such as identity formation, career stress, and relationship dynamics.
